Brandon Morehead

Brandon will forever be 18 years old--tall, slim, strong and handsome with soft, brown curly hair and big brown eyes.

Brandon was kind and gentle, sensitive and artistic.

Brandon liked hanging out with his older brother Rick, camping out, fishing, visiting him at college and having impromptu parties with their mutual friends.

Brandon was hero and protector to younger sister Megan. I think many of her friends had a crush on her handsome older brother.

Brandon was an athletic daredevil who did somersaults from the dangerous rope swing at the lake, much to his parents’ terror and the admiration of the older kids who hung around there.

Brandon had great rhythm and was an awesome, effortless hip hop dancer.

Brandon loved cars and motorcycles and his trademark talent was painting painstakingly detailed flames on them.  He yearned for his own motorcycle.

Brandon was a loyal friend who had a devoted group of buddies.  They would have done anything for him, and he would have done anything for them.

Brandon had a blossoming love life and a romantic soul.  He loved deeply, heart and soul.

Brandon was cheerful and affectionate and never left or arrived without giving us a hug.

Brandon was never embarrassed to say “I love you.”

Brandon loved animals.  When our cat, Shadow, was sick and dying, Brandon lay down on the bedroom floor next to him and gently stroked his fur, trying to comfort him.  Shadow died there with Brandon and Brandon cried for days.

Brandon was always a gentleman, always respectful. He would automatically open the door for you, carry in the groceries.  He didn’t have to be asked, he just did it.

Brandon brought much joy to our lives.  We were so proud of him.  We miss him terribly but would never trade that joy to lessen our sorrow over losing him.  We thank God for the gift of having Brandon in our family for 18 short years.  He will always be with us in our heart and soul, until we meet again
