Avery Grace Offner

     Our Daughter Avery Grace passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the evening of January 11, 2009 at the age of 2 years and 2 months.  She filled our home with joy and light.  We never knew unconditional love until Avery came into our lives.  This photo of Avery Grace was taken on December 18 at the Dutch Reform Church in Bronxville NY where we live.  This picture was taken during the Christmas nativity pageant by our neighbor who was so struck by our daughter's spontaneous prayerful pose that she immediately snapped a photo and only later shared it with us.  We had never seen Avery strike such a pose before.  Three weeks later our daughter's funeral service was held in the same church.  We used the picture for Avery's funeral mass card. Avery loved to sing.  Now she is an angel in God's choir in heaven. We love her always.
